Hawaiian Hotel Project for the Army

For most of 2008 and 2009, MMI has been working on an extensive Army project on Waikiki Beach in the heart of Honolulu, Hawaii. Our firm has a contract to deliver and install furniture and equipment at the Hale Koa Hotel. As owners of the property, the Department of the Army chose MMI for this long-term project. It is one of dozens of such projects that we have handled for the military over more than two decades.

Photos here show the mock-up room we equipped and installed. This is an exact replica of each of the 416 rooms we will supply, as the Lima Tower portion of the hotel is renovated.

MMI Sales Manager Brian Hoffman met in Hawaii with officials of the United States Army Department of Lodging to finalize details and review progress. During this entire renovation, the Hale Koa Hotel remained fully operational and at booking capacity. Read here - Customer comments.

MWR for US Army Garrison - Vicenza, Italy

Recreation is an important factor on Army bases throughout
the world. In addition to giving troops release from stress, the exercise provided is mission-specific.

MMI recently aided this cause by transporting and installing all the furniture and equipment for the new Arena Entertainment Center at The Ederle Lanes & Club V on the Army Base in Vincenza, Italy. The two-story building houses 16 bowling lanes and a pro shop. In addition, it has Lion's Den Lounge & Sports Bar, Video Arcades & Slots. The complex also has a large party room and smaller conference rooms.

The MMI installation team received high marks from Army officials for their efficiency and work ethics.

MMI is slated to transport and install all furnishings for the 54-room Ederle Inn nearby.
